We believe in the Holy Trinity and the ancient creeds of the Christian Church. When preparing someone for baptism or church membership, we go through the Apostles' Creed, the Ten Commandments and the Lord's Prayer.
The Bible is our final authority on all matters of faith and conduct. We believe the Bible is God's word and so (like its author) it is good and trustworthy in what it teaches us to believe and how it teaches us to live. We have a conservative evangelical basis of faith which our trustees must uphold.
Like the English Reformers in the 16th century, we believe that we are made right with God through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Our minister must uphold the historic Reformed faith as revealed in the Bible and expressed in the 39 Articles of the English Reformation. We cherish being connected with other churches under the oversight of the Anglican Mission in England (AMiE).
Finally, it is Jesus Christ himself who unites us as his people, and so everyone (regardless of church background) is always welcome to join us in family worship and celebration.
